What’s New for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

An undeniable icon of the Jeep SUV family, the Jeep Grand Cherokee continues to impress with its powerful engines, luxe interiors and large collection of features. As always, Jeep keeps us on our toes by throwing in some new gems for the 2019 model year. From the new Limited X trim level to the updated standard features list, read on to see what’s new for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

New Limited X Trim Level

The new Limited X trim makes its debut on the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it does not disappoint. The lineup was already full of good looks, but the bold new variant of the Grand Cherokee is guaranteed not to go unnoticed on the road. Limited X drivers choose from a selection of four dark-themed exterior paint options, including Slate Blue Pearl Coat, Velvet Red Pearl Coat, Bright White Clear Coat and Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat. The handsome exterior design also features:

  • Unique front and rear facias
  • Performance hood
  • Granite Crystal exterior accents
  • Black Dual Chrome exhaust tips
  • 20-inch Low-Gloss Granite Crystal wheels

On the inside, Limited X models are treated with a blacked-out interior trim crafted with quality materials and topped off with a high-tech setup, gaining:

  • Heritage perforated seats
  • 8.4-inch Uconnect4C NAV touchscreen infotainment system
  • 9-speaker audio system with active noise cancellation

New Standard Features

The Limited X isn’t the only thing the 2019 model year has us looking forward to. Grand Cherokee Limited models also gain the 8.4-inch Uconnect4C NAV touchscreen infotainment system in its standard features list. The Uconnect4C NAV system offers on-screen navigation with 3D imagery of landmarks, city models and digital terrain. The touchscreen features a smartphone-like interface, offering pinch, tap and swipe capability.

Overland models get an elevated look with a new set of standard 20-inch Heritage wheels, while Summit models add 20-inch wheels to their available features list. Three new paint colors join the exterior color palette as well, as drivers can now opt for Slate Blue, Green Metallic and Sting Gray.
